Radio Times has  started a poll to discover the nation's favourite sitcom of the 21st Century to date.

The magazine has drawn up a shortlist of 40 shows, devised by its own critics and TV experts at the BFI.

Editor Ben Preston says: "Ask people to name their greatest sitcom and the answer is usually Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army or possibly Porridge. Four decades after the so-called Golden Age of Comedy, these shows haven't lost their laughs or lustre. Astonishingly, Dad's Army is still the most popular repeat on BBC Two.

Most Disliked Movie Trailer on YouTube

The new Ghostbusters movie received a lot of hate long before its debut this past Friday. Some were appalled that the franchise was being rebooted at all, and others took particular issue with the fact it was being revived with an all-female main cast. The trailer for the new film claimed the title of “Most Disliked Movie Trailer on YouTube” after an orchestrated effort by some folks online to downvote the trailer into oblivion.

The Mike Birbiglia to Guest on Unmasked with Cast Members From ‘Don’t Think Twice’

The tale has been told in the rock world before, but never as a part of comedy. The film looks behind the scenes at what happens when the “band” splits up after one member goes for the big time with a solo career move. The film is getting gigantic buzz after premiering at SXSW this year, and Birbiglia has been touring the country hand delivering screenings across America along with a bus of improv comics.

For this anniversary show, Mr. Lindahl will feature art from the photographer Mindy Tucker and performances by Dave Hill, Josh Gondelman, Joe Pera, Ashley Brooke Roberts and Robert Watkins. The Netflix Lands Chuck Lorre Pot Comedy Series

The comedy spec script was the winter’s most anticipated project back in January, when it was first shopped to the broadcast networks and Netflix. As someone put it at the time, it’s The Big Bang Theory, if the guys were not geniuses but selling weed. Lorre and Javerbaum subsequently rewrote the script. In the series, Oscar and Emmy winner Bates’ character is joined by three budtenders, her twentysomething son and a deeply troubled security guard. And everyone is more or less constantly high. No others castings were announced.

Jason Bateman's New Comedy Will Take You Back to Elementary School

Once you leave grade school, you've probably never thought about competing in a spelling bee again in your life. Not so for 40-year-old Guy Trilby. The angry-at-the-world character is portrayed by Jason Bateman in the star's directorial debut Bad Words, now playing in select theaters. Kathryn Hahn plays the fiery reporter trailing the case. "I've worshipped Jason since forever," Hahn told InStyle when we sat down with the cast at the Toronto International Film Festival.
